To a solution of (4-(2-bromo-3-((5-iodobenzo[d][1,3]dioxol-4-yl)methoxy)-4-methoxyphenyl)-4-((tert-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy)but-2-yn-1-yl)trimethylsilane (115 mg, 191 μmol, 1.00 equiv) and imidazole (65.0 mg, 955 µmol, 5.00 eq.) in DMF (10 mL), TBDMSCl (115 mg, 762 µmol, 4.00 eq.) was added at 21 °C and stirred for 16 h. Water (5 mL) and EtOAc (50 mL) were added and the solution was extracted with NaCl-solution (3 × 30 mL). The organic phase was dried over MgSO4, filtered and the solvent was removed under vacuum.
